Responsibilities
- Serve as the responsible engineer for composite structures development.
- Work with the structures engineering team to validate and certify composite designs.
- Generate engineering drawings and CAD for composite structures.
- Develop design trade studies and configuration.
- Provide manufacturing support and coordinate between design and manufacturing teams.
- Implement processes to minimize production discrepancies.
- Plan and conduct tests, reviewing test data.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in composite engineering development.
- Experience with certification of composite parts for aerospace.
- Expertise in automated fiber placement and composite fabrication methods.
- Proficiency with Creo CAD software and GD&T analysis.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
