Responsibilities
- Work on complex subsystems related to the Transporter Gas Sub-System.
- Support the development and execution of component and subsystem tests.
- Coordinate plans for subsystem verification tests and analysis.
- Review and approve engineering changes from a systems safety perspective.
- Apply systems engineering fundamentals throughout the development cycle.
- Integrate fluids and propulsion subsystems with overall vehicle design.
- Perform Failure Modes and Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fluids, propulsion, or aerospace systems.
- 1+ years of experience in 3D modeling and design (Creo preferred).
- Experience with fluid/gas components (valves, regulators, etc.).
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles.
- Ability to assess mission-specific risks related to hazard controls.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
