Responsibilities
- Work on complex subsystems within the Transporter Gas Sub-System.
- Support development and execution of component and subsystem tests.
- Coordinate plans for subsystem verification tests and analysis.
- Review and approve engineering changes from a system safety and reliability perspective.
- Apply systems engineering fundamentals across the development cycle.
- Integrate fluids and propulsion subsystems with overall vehicle design and operations.
- Perform Failure Modes and Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fluids, propulsion, or aerospace systems.
- 1+ years of experience in 3D modeling and design (Creo suite preferred).
- Experience with fluid/gas components such as valves and pressure vessels.
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles.
- Ability to assess mission-specific risks related to hazard controls.
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
