Responsibilities

  • Support investigation and root cause analysis of control system faults and alarm events.
  • Assist with the sustainment of industrial control systems.
  • Analyze large time-series data sets to identify trends and correlations.
  • Evaluate alarm performance and support alarm rationalization efforts.
  • Apply statistical analysis and pattern recognition techniques to detect anomalies.
  • Develop predictive or trend-based models to anticipate performance issues.
  • Create scripts or tools for data processing, visualization, and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027.
  • Understanding of control systems fundamentals (sensors, actuators, PID).
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex technical data.
  • Experience with data analysis or scripting (Python, MATLAB, or similar).
  • Familiarity with time series analysis and predictive modeling concepts.
  • Pursuing an M.S. degree is desired.
