Responsibilities

  • Support investigation and root cause analysis of control system faults and alarm events.
  • Assist with sustainment of industrial control systems.
  • Analyze large time-series data sets to identify trends and failure precursors.
  • Evaluate alarm performance and support alarm rationalization efforts.
  • Apply statistical analysis to detect anomalies in system behavior.
  • Develop predictive or trend-based models for performance issues.
  • Create scripts or tools for data processing and visualization.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
  • Must graduate between spring 2026 and summer 2027.
  • Understanding of control systems fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex technical data.
  • Experience with data analysis or scripting (Python, MATLAB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with time series analysis and predictive modeling concepts.
  • Pursuing an M.S. degree is desired.
