Manufacturing Engineer I

The Manufacturing Engineer I provides engineering support for manufacturing equipment used in diagnostic reagent processes, collaborating with various teams to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.

• Troubleshoots and investigates equipment issues.
• Provides technical support for capital equipment projects and automation initiatives.
• Designs and executes equipment qualifications.
• Creates and updates equipment Standard Operating Procedures.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance and Production.
• Implements process improvements and completes validations.
• Interacts with external representatives on technical matters.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Scientific field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment in a regulated industry (cGMP/FDA/ISO).
• Familiarity with capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
• Knowledge of OEE/Uptime measuring and LEAN 6 Sigma preferred.
• Experience with automated filling, sealing, and packaging preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and independent judgment skills.
