The Automation Engineering Intern will work with the sales and applications team at Beckhoff USA, gaining experience in automation technology and customer collaboration. The role involves exploring engineering solutions and participating in hands-on projects.

• Work directly with sales and application engineers to analyze customer needs and implement solutions.
• Gain exposure to Beckhoff’s full product portfolio through hands-on learning.
• Participate in troubleshooting, testing, and customer demonstrations.
• Collaborate with other interns on cross-functional projects.
• Share experiences and key takeaways with peers and leadership at the end of the program.

• Attend on-site at the San Jose office and travel as required.

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Eagerness to learn about automation hardware and software.
• Basic programming proficiency in one or more languages.
• Experience with hands-on mechanical or electrical projects.
• Self-starter with a results-driven personality.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking.
