Responsibilities
- Own electrical hardware design for a significant part of a grid-tied inverter.
- Design schematics and PCB layouts.
- Manage PCB and PCBA release processes.
- Oversee manufacturing ramp-up.
- Conduct root cause analysis.
- Perform supplier visits for quality control.
- Ensure compliance with electrical engineering standards.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing grid-tied or similar power converters.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Knowledge of electrical layout and magnetic design.
- Understanding of EMC design principles.
- Familiarity with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards is a plus.
- Four-year degree in Engineering, math, physics, or a related field.
- Commitment to a full-time, in-person work environment.
