Responsibilities
- Own electrical hardware design for a significant part of a grid-tied inverter.
- Conduct schematic and PCB layout design.
- Oversee PCB and PCBA release.
- Manage manufacturing ramp-up processes.
- Perform root cause analysis for design issues.
- Conduct supplier visits for quality control.
- Collaborate closely with firmware and control engineers.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing grid-tied or similar power converters.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Proficient in electrical layout and magnetic design.
- Knowledgeable in EMC design principles.
- Familiarity with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards is a plus.
- Four-year college degree in Engineering, math, physics, or a related field.
