Responsibilities
- Own electrical hardware design for a significant part of a grid-tied inverter.
- Conduct schematic design, PCB layout, and PCB and PCBA release.
- Manage manufacturing ramp-up.
- Perform root cause analysis.
- Conduct supplier visits for quality control.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing grid-tied or similar power converters.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Knowledge of electrical layout and magnetic design.
- Understanding of EMC design principles.
- Familiarity with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field.
