Responsibilities
- Create and issue repair work orders in Oracle for rotary machinery inspection and repair.
- Identify potential spares for repair items to enhance spares procurement.
- Prepare scope of work and cost estimations, including inspection and completion reports.
- Standardize inspection and repair routings and check forms.
- Provide disposition to Non-Conformance Reports (eNCR) and collaborate with operations to improve repair processes.
- Manage plans to meet technical requirements and contract commitments.
- Participate in technical contract reviews and provide necessary data to support bids.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of engineering experience in an industrial/technical environment, preferably in oil and gas or manufacturing.
- Experience in a repair engineering role focused on rotary machinery is preferred.
- Familiarity with servicing gas turbines and rotating equipment is preferred.
- Significant knowledge or experience with special processes like welding, brazing, and coating is preferred.
- Proficient in computer and systems skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
