Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis on spacecraft, instruments, and ground support equipment.
- Utilize closed form and finite element analysis techniques for stress analysis and structural dynamics.
- Develop loads and environments for structures and components.
- Support structural and environmental testing for various conditions.
- Write detailed reports for test and analysis activities.
- Maintain effective working relationships within the department and the company.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Job Requirements
- BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to manage multiple efforts and competing priorities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo security clearance submission if required.
- Preferred: MS degree in a structures-related field.
- Previous experience in structural analysis of aerospace-related hardware is a plus.
- Coursework in relevant engineering subjects is preferred.
