Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, procure, assemble, and test structure, bracketry, and mechanisms for spacecraft.
- Perform mechanical and thermal analysis for spacecraft systems.
- Integrate parts and systems into the spacecraft.
- Document and develop procedures to improve future build processes.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on complex projects.
- Engage in hands-on design and development work.
- Contribute to meaningful work that impacts satellite technology.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent technical degree.
- Passion for hardware development and hands-on design.
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
- Experience with CAD is a bonus.
- Experience with analytical software for stress or thermal analysis is a bonus.
- Experience with electromechanical system design and specification is a bonus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual as per U.S. export regulations.
