The Process Engineering Intern role at ASM offers hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry, focusing on semiconductor processing and analytical equipment. Interns will work on projects related to oxidation, annealing, and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) among other technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Process Engineering team on semiconductor processing.
- Research, develop, and optimize processes for various applications.
- Support the preparation of detailed reports and presentations.
- Learn about ALD technology and contribute to film optimization.
- Assist in improving efficiencies for Epi technology.
- Optimize ALD process parameters to meet target requirements.
- Collaborate with world-class engineers on industry-related projects.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of material characterization.
- Preferred knowledge of device fabrication.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Interest in semiconductor technology and processes.
- Desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
