The Propulsion Engineer will support Argotec's global Systems Design teams by designing, developing, qualifying, and testing Attitude Determination and Control Systems (ADCS) for small satellites, working independently with support from a multi-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Definition and management of technical requirements and specifications
- Technical trade-off, sizing, and architecture selection of PS and ADCS hardware
- Development of ADCS suite for SmallSat platform
- Design/architecture and selection of components
- Implementation of embedded ADCS SW control loop
- Verification and Validation plan and execution of ADCS suite
- Support for risk assessment and FMEA
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Engineering, or related STEM discipline
- Typically 10 or more years of Engineering or relevant experience
- Strong background in SmallSat propulsion systems and AOCS suite
- Experience with running test campaigns on ADCS equipment
- Advanced knowledge of Matlab, Simulink, Python, and C/C++
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency
