Responsibilities
- Support the design, build, and implementation of flight hardware, test stands, procedures, and reports for qualification and production applications.
- Collaborate with the Landing Gear team on technical direction and manage delivery, conformity, testing, and certification.
- Conduct performance analysis, including braking energy and multibody dynamic landing analysis.
- Write, review, and conduct tests at the equipment and system level.
- Review flight test data.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge in mechanical design and CAD tools.
- Experience with Siemens NX CAD and Simcenter FEA tools is a plus.
- Knowledge in kinematic analysis and optimization.
- Understanding of structural analysis using hand calculations and finite element methods.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Engineering student design team experience (Baja SAE/Formula SAE) is an asset.
- Experience with hand tools is an asset.
