Responsibilities
- Support the design, build, and implementation of flight hardware and test stands.
- Collaborate on the technical direction of the designs with the Landing Gear team.
- Conduct performance analysis including braking energy and multibody dynamic landing analysis.
- Write, review, and conduct tests at the equipment and system level.
- Review flight test data.
- Assist in the management of delivery, conformity, test, and certification processes.
- Engage in hands-on work with mechanical design and CAD tools.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in college, preferably in the 2nd or 3rd year.
- Knowledge of mechanical design and CAD tools.
- Experience with Siemens NX CAD and Simcenter FEA tools is a plus.
- Understanding of kinematic analysis and structural analysis methods.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Eager to learn with a positive attitude.
- Experience with engineering student design teams (e.g., Baja SAE/Formula SAE) is an asset.
