Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a reliability engineering strategy for hardware systems.
- Establish and maintain reliability metrics, goals, and test protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability principles.
- Design reliability testing approaches to extract insights from small sample sizes.
- Analyze thermal, electrical, and mechanical stresses to identify potential failure points.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for hardware failures and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to foster a culture of reliability.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience with reliability engineering principles.
- Proficiency in reliability testing methods such as HALT and HASS.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electronic components.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven ability to lead RCA efforts and drive reliability improvements.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in reliability engineering for complex hardware systems.
