Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the Apollo humanoid robot.
- Conduct root cause analysis on system failures and production inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate improvements.
- Optimize mechanical designs for manufacturability and reliability.
- Design, prototype, and test new components and sub-systems.
- Develop and implement best practices for mechanical assembly and quality control.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on design for manufacturing.
- Expertise in CAD software and FEA simulation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication.
- Experience with humanoid robotics or legged locomotion is a plus.
