Responsibilities
- Empower design engineers with data-backed decisions.
- Specify and assemble test equipment and infrastructure for data collection.
- Set up and conduct testing of robotics hardware.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Software engineers on test plans.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly of prototype components and systems.
- Build test data collection hardware and software.
- Document and report issues and failure modes.
Job Requirements
- Experience with data logging equipment and systems (e.g., National Instruments, Linux).
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Intermediate proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, Creo).
- Experience in electrical assembly/soldering (PCB rework/repair).
- Mechanical assembly/fabrication skills using hand tools and machine shop equipment.
- Experience with 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLS, SLA).
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
