Responsibilities
- Manage vendor teams to ensure product quality and delivery schedules.
- Translate complex designs into optimized manufacturing solutions.
- Evaluate suppliers for technical capability and capacity for new product development.
- Conduct DFx reviews to ensure manufacturability of parts.
- Provide guidance on design for manufacturability and supply chain optimization.
- Develop and implement process improvements at internal and external sites.
- Prepare and analyze RFx packages for project requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process, or similar engineering role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with interpreting engineering drawings and models, including GD&T.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP) and MRP/ERP systems.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
