Responsibilities
- Manage vendor teams to ensure product quality and delivery schedules.
- Translate complex designs into optimized manufacturing solutions.
- Evaluate suppliers for technical capability and capacity for new product development.
- Work with production and quality assurance teams to meet material specifications.
- Review Engineering Changes and conduct DFx reviews for manufacturability.
- Provide guidance on design for manufacturability and supply chain optimization.
- Implement process improvements and risk management strategies in the supply chain.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or a similar engineering role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with interpreting engineering drawings and models.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Knowledge of quality systems and MRP/ERP systems.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
