Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Drive design, development, and improvement of humanoid robots.
- Own the full product lifecycle for mechanical components.
- Oversee DfX aspects including manufacturability and testing.
- Perform advanced mechanical analysis, including FEA and structural assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
- Define and implement best practices for the mechanical engineering team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in designing legged or humanoid robots.
- Proven expertise in advanced FEA and stress analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in modern CAD software (SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or Onshape).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
