Responsibilities
- Perform engineering analysis under general supervision.
- Design or modify basic mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, or specifications.
- Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components for design projects.
- Document engineering test reports and generate documentation for product releases.
- Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficulty.
- Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling and associated processes.
- Enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts throughout the product life cycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- Experience with CAD software and manufacturing methods.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, sheet metal design, and material selection.
- Familiarity with GD&T and Design for Excellence principles.
- Ability to coordinate projects and resolve technical issues.
- Strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science.
