Responsibilities
- Design mechanical assemblies using professional CAD design tools.
- Collaborate with rapid fabrication teams or suppliers to source equipment.
- Integrate designs into Anduril’s PDM systems and follow design release processes.
- Work with design teams to incorporate DFM/DFT requirements into products.
- Develop complex electromechanical systems and collaborate with software and electrical engineers.
- Generate test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use.
- Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports on defects and improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience, especially in product design for manufacturing.
- Expert capability with mechanical design software.
- Familiarity with electronics test equipment.
- Strong root cause analysis skills for hardware failures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance.
