Responsibilities
- Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection and PCB design.
- Troubleshoot issues that span electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment.
- Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently at various stages.
- Support new developments and active deployments of customer-operated hardware.
- Utilize test equipment and software development tools to aid in projects.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Must be a rising senior and returning to school after the internship.
- U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data.
- Ability to complete a 12-week in-person internship.
- Familiarity with test equipment and software development processes.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with embedded Linux development.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
