Responsibilities
- Assist with the definition, design, and execution of high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, and test fixtures.
- Work with external vendors for sourcing custom and off-the-shelf solutions.
- Support the growth and operation of in-house rapid prototyping capabilities.
- Develop conceptual and detailed CAD models for medical device design and development.
- Design and set up experiments to investigate system architecture and design paths.
- Learn about medical device design and manufacturing regulations.
- Collaborate with a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer and colleagues across various functions.
Job Requirements
- Achieved junior undergraduate status or recent degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong academic background in dynamics, fluidics, and electro-mechanics.
- Demonstrated hands-on prototyping and empirical evaluation skills.
- Confidence in CAD and CA Analysis skills.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High levels of motivation, creativity, and an inquisitive nature.
- Active interest in 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies.
