Responsibilities
- Assist in defining, designing, and executing high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, and test fixtures.
- Collaborate with external vendors for sourcing solutions for prototyping and testing.
- Support the growth of in-house rapid prototyping capabilities.
- Develop CAD models and prototypes for the medical device design process.
- Design and set up experiments for system architecture evaluation.
- Learn about medical device design and manufacturing regulations.
- Report to a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer and collaborate with colleagues of varying expertise.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong academic background in dynamics, fluidics, and electro-mechanics.
- Hands-on prototyping and empirical evaluation skills.
- Confidence in CAD and CA analysis skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High motivation, creativity, and positive attitude.
- Interest in 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies.
