Responsibilities
- Develop advanced system packaging solutions including industrial design, material selections, and manufacturing flow.
- Collate information and present coherent reports for communication.
- Manage projects through design iterations, substrate layout/simulation, and prototype assembly.
- Document manufacturing process flows and control plans with external suppliers.
- Design and execute experiments using DOE, FMEA, and statistical analysis for process improvement.
- Communicate complex engineering ideas effectively to global teams.
- Collaborate with suppliers across different time zones to align development and manufacturing flows.
Job Requirements
- Minimum master’s degree in engineering (mechanical or manufacturing engineering).
- Hands-on experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Educational background in materials and their mechanical behavior.
- Prior internship experience in industrial design or manufacturing of medical devices is advantageous.
- Demonstrated engineering aptitude, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of project management skills for tracking and schedule compliance.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a global team environment.
