Responsibilities
- Multi-body system modeling for various simulations (modal, static, transient, fatigue, explicit, crash).
- Hyper-elastic material and sheet metal modeling for explicit, crash, and crush simulations.
- Provide assessments and design improvement directions for static and transient structural safety.
- Conduct durability evaluations based on modal, vibration, impact, and fatigue.
- Evaluate safety under crash and crush events using LS-Dyna and explicit simulation.
- Guide experimental validation and testing based on simulation results.
Job Requirements

- Strong technical and theoretical background in structure/material/fatigue/crash.
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, chemistry, or electrical engineering; PhD preferred.
- Experience with 3D simulation software (Ansys suite, LS-dyna, Star-CCM+, COMSOL multi-physics).
- Bonus skills include experience with electrical and thermal modeling of battery packs/modules/cells, running simulations in HPC environments, and proficiency in Python and C programming.
- Expertise in modeling assemblies and modules in tight tolerance.
