Responsibilities
- Utilize Lean principles to establish work instruction standards for assembly and test, generating productivity savings and improving quality.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to develop Continuous Improvement strategies.
- Lead initiatives for cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate change in a fast-paced environment using strong interpersonal skills.
- Provide training to the assembly team on standard operating procedures and develop workflow diagrams.
- Mentor project teams on Lean methodologies and tools.
- Identify and drive Continuous Improvement events, focusing on manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and knowledge of manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in a high mix, low volume, process manufacturing environment.
- Practical experience implementing Lean Manufacturing.
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
