Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of PCBA and automated assembly processes for new product introduction and high-volume production.
- Drive ODM/CEM partners to meet quality and yield targets.
- Develop, document, and maintain operational procedures for AMD and manufacturing partners.
- Design and optimize efficient assembly workflows, including methods, materials, and detailed work instructions.
- Lead engineering meetings and manage cross-functional technical projects.
- Own product lifecycle management from NPI through end-of-life, addressing manufacturability, cost, and efficiency improvements.
- Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) input to enhance product design and reduce costs.
Job Requirements
- BS Degree or higher preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Certifications or training in Control Plans, PFMEA, APQP, IPC standards, and environmental compliance.
- Familiarity with SMT PCBA assembly processes.
- Proficiency in process management techniques such as Gage R&R, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience managing suppliers and cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
- Background in automation and robotics is a plus.
