Responsibilities
- Serve as the Technical Engineer for Platform Engineering within cross-functional teams.
- Review design prints and documentation for compliance with design criteria and manufacturing capability.
- Assist Customer Operations with internal communications.
- Provide schedules and implementation readiness timelines.
- Facilitate problem-solving meetings for new product introduction with various engineering teams.
- Establish development review meetings to aid in the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) process.
- Validate and approve production assembly instructions and rework instructions.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience or MS degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in creating and managing bills of material in engineering and manufacturing.
- Understanding of server development and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with rack and server-level platforms and component interactions.
- Knowledge of BOM structures and configuration management concepts.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Academic credentials of a BS in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
