Responsibilities
- Ensure AMD has the latest packaging and connector technology.
- Collaborate with suppliers to support product introductions.
- Design and evaluate packaging test vehicles.
- Conduct testing and evaluations of thermal interface materials.
- Assist Product Development Engineers with new development projects.
- Analyze experimental data and communicate findings.
- Interface with various engineering teams to achieve project goals.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a graduate program in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Optical Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, CAD, MATLAB, and LabView.
- Mechanical design background and lab experience.
- Familiarity with semiconductor theory and packaging structures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Passion for the role and drive to succeed.
