Responsibilities
- Develop firmware and enable features for Infinity Fabric interconnect across AMD products.
- Enhance tools for processing complex data to create hardware initialization binaries.
- Collaborate with architects and IP leads on firmware scope and implementation.
- Perform unit and integration tests and provide debug support in various environments.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Work with teams to ensure quality throughout the firmware lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in firmware development and understanding of verification/validation for SoC designs.
- Expertise in low-level C programming and software optimization for embedded systems.
- Strong skills in Python and Linux scripting for data processing.
- Background in computer architecture and familiarity with memory interleaving.
- Experience in board or processor/ASIC bring-up and testing.
- Knowledge of hardware/software interfaces and debugging techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
