Responsibilities
- Support architectural trades with thermal analysis for spacecraft.
- Perform detailed analysis of Bus and Payload subsystems.
- Develop automated scripts for rapid analysis updates.
- Design and select heat pipes for components.
- Define and execute thermal testing setups.
- Conduct testing of prototypes for design feedback.
- Document design evolution and prepare materials for reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with thermal analysis software.
- 1+ year experience in test planning and results correlation.
- 1+ year experience with thermal control hardware.
- Proficiency in thermal simulation software (e.g., Thermal Desktop, Ansys).
- Advanced degree preferred (Master’s or PhD).
- Experience with spacecraft thermal design and hardware development.
