Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues in manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and design.
- Work with suppliers to enhance their responsiveness to design changes and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives to meet manufacturing targets.
- Assist suppliers in developing capabilities to produce compliant parts and conduct validations.
- Collaborate to implement new materials and processes for large-scale production readiness.
- Provide leadership for New Product Introduction (NPI) at suppliers and mitigate risks.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers while conducting audits on existing ones.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years in developing and monitoring manufacturing processes at suppliers.
- Experience in manufacturing, quality, supply chain, or operations.
- Knowledge of DFM, PPAP, quality management systems, and lean principles.
- Proven supplier management experience, including audits and global relationships.
- Strong project management skills in NPI and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.
