Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of complex discrete-event simulations for new technologies.
- Optimize processes and influence mechanical designs using simulation software.
- Collaborate with hardware development engineers to understand automation system requirements.
- Design simulation experiments to test operational metrics and physical reactions.
- Program model parameters, run scenarios, and analyze results.
- Present findings and recommend optimizations to cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers on simulation best practices.
Job Requirements
- Master's Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or equivalent.
- Experience with discrete event simulation and process simulation tools (preferably FlexSim).
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Experience in an industrial process environment (Manufacturing, Logistics).
- Proficient in at least one modern programming language (e.g., C++, Python, MATLAB).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
