Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of complex discrete-event simulations for new technologies.
- Collaborate with hardware development engineers to understand automation system requirements.
- Design simulation experiments using tools like FlexSim or Emulate3D.
- Program model parameters, run scenarios, and analyze results.
- Present findings and recommend optimizations to cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers on simulation best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors on complex multi-system simulations.
Job Requirements
- Master's Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or equivalent.
- Experience with discrete event simulation and process simulation tools (preferably FlexSim).
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Experience in an industrial process environment (manufacturing, logistics).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as R, MATLAB, or Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a diverse team environment.
