Responsibilities
- Plan and execute precise dimensional measurements using laser tracker technology.
- Analyze measurement data to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
- Develop control algorithms to minimize robot path errors.
- Debug control software for industrial robots and implement robot programs for various tasks.
- Integrate robotic systems with other automation equipment and sensors.
- Create user interfaces and data acquisition systems for robot control.
- Collaborate on safety analysis and maintain robotic safety systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Robotics Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing mechanical fixtures.
- Strong programming skills in relevant languages (C++, Python, etc.).
- Experience with laser tracker metrology and data analysis.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and climb 20' ladders.
- Preferred: Master's degree and experience with Fanuc and Kuka robots.
