Responsibilities
- Plan and execute precise dimensional measurements using laser tracker technology.
- Analyze measurement data and provide insights to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and implement control algorithms to minimize robot path errors.
- Modify and debug control software for industrial robots.
- Integrate robotic systems with automation equipment and sensors.
- Create and review robot safety analysis documents and maintain safety systems.
- Integrate test scripts with laser tracker routines and robotic movements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Robotics Engineer or similar role.
- 2+ years of experience in Laser Tracker metrology.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing mechanical fixtures.
- Strong programming skills in relevant languages for robot control.
- Experience with data analysis and statistical methods.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and climb 20' ladders (infrequent).
