Responsibilities
- Design and improve system controls architecture including machine control code and safety design
- Develop controls code on Codesys platforms
- Identify and implement system optimizations
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams for real-time implementations
- Partner with hardware engineering for system development from prototyping to production
- Launch, test, and debug systems in lab and field settings
- Develop tools for system monitoring and troubleshooting
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in production motion control systems for robotics
- 1+ years of experience in designing or architecting systems
- BS/MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with C++, CodeSys, and PLCs
- Knowledge of IEC standards for programming controls
- Solid debugging skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
