Responsibilities
- Develop hardware designs from concept to production, including specifications, design, prototyping, validation, and testing.
- Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations for product launch.
- Write requirements, functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures.
- Conduct thorough engineering analysis and maintain ownership of projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver reliable automation solutions.
- Create design of experiments and lead automation of experiments.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Experience in designing electro-mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with proof-of-concept models and prototypes.
- Understanding of engineering principles in mechanical engineering.
- Effective communication skills for technical documentation.
- Experience evaluating design and performance tradeoffs for hardware systems.
