Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians through satellite integration operations.
- Plan workstation layouts optimized for satellite integration processing rates.
- Implement manufacturing processes and material flow for satellite integration.
- Integrate satellites onto dispensers and improve integration/test processes.
- Author and implement work instructions and standard processes.
- Evaluate and improve takt time and resolve anomalies.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams on the shop floor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of engineering practices for hardware/software integration and real-time systems.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation.
- Experience in space hardware integration and handling flight hardware.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% annually for business needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a technical and collaborative setting.
- Ability to implement efficiency improvements and reduce non-conformances.
