Responsibilities
- Lead a team through satellite integration operations on second shift.
- Plan workstation layouts and material flow for satellite integration.
- Integrate satellites onto dispensers and improve test processes.
- Interface with facilities personnel for setup in the payload processing facility.
- Evaluate and enhance takt time and author work instructions.
- Resolve anomalies and implement corrective actions.
- Work on the shop floor to address root causes of failures and optimize production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of engineering practices for hardware/software integration.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, or installation.
- Preferred: Master's degree and 2+ years of spaceflight hardware experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and technical environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% annually.
