Responsibilities
- Manage the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for cost-effective production.
- Conduct Cpk and capabilities analysis to assess and improve process performance.
- Provide engineering support for manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production issues.
- Utilize CAD software for designing and improving manufacturing tools and fixtures.
- Develop and update detailed process documentation and work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition new products from concept to production.
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives like lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on process development.
- Expertise in Cpk/Capabilities analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Experience with process development techniques such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
