Responsibilities
- Plan material flow and implement manufacturing processes for satellite handling and testing operations.
- Adhere to safety requirements, standards, and procedures in all work locations.
- Final assembly and test of Kuiper satellites in a clean-room environment.
- Verify satellite health using computer-controlled equipment.
- Define rigging diagrams and lift operations for satellite handling.
- Author and implement work instructions and standard processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve anomalies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with space flight hardware in mechanical integration and testing.
- Experience authoring and executing mechanical and test work instructions.
- Hands-on experience with satellite assembly and integration.
- Familiarity with clean room and ESD sensitive hardware.
- Experience with electrically energized systems and heavy equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
