Responsibilities
- Lead the vision and execution for avionics hardware development for the Satellite Avionics Bus.
- Define subsystem requirements in collaboration with hardware and software development teams.
- Develop, test, and deliver hardware subsystems for the satellite avionics bus.
- Manage development processes including architecture and requirement reviews.
- Hire and guide the avionics electrical engineering team through various design and testing phases.
- Plan and execute electrical component and subsystem test plans for space applications.
- Interface with cross-functional teams for design validation and qualification testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing an electrical engineering team.
- 7+ years designing and testing hardware components and systems.
- Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools and PCB design.
- Familiarity with complex board designs and high-speed interconnects.
- Experience in hardware development across the full product life cycle.
- Preferred: Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
