Responsibilities
- Lead architectural and mechanical design of fulfillment center systems.
- Create detailed design specifications for automated equipment and robotics solutions.
- Develop and validate engineering calculations for system performance.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and serve as the primary technical contact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Identify opportunities for standardizing designs and improving efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct design reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Experience with automated material handling equipment and robotics.
- Proficiency in technical software such as CAD and MS Project.
- Ability to travel globally (20% of the time).
- Master’s degree preferred with experience in process design based on Lean Principles.
- Design-in-Safety experience is a plus.
