Responsibilities
- Design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
- Manage multiple engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Collaborate with internal and external teams throughout the design process.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers during project execution.
- Oversee the hand-off of completed designs to the Ops Engineering team for installation.
- Engage with teams to ensure successful installation and commissioning of designed systems.
- Work on various projects, including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Proven ownership of engineering design projects involving MHE.
- Proficiency in business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD.
- Preferred Master’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Experience with automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics.
- Ability to travel 20%, including internationally.
