Responsibilities
- Own the design of physical fulfillment and logistics systems globally.
- Innovate with automated material handling equipment and robotics for new fulfillment centers.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for cost-effective solutions.
- Manage multiple high visibility projects and communicate with stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects.
- Lead ergonomic design improvements using digital human modeling.
- Develop standard work documentation across different building types.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
- 2+ years in Design/Innovation or related engineering occupations.
- Experience managing engineering design projects.
- Ability to travel 25% globally.
- Master’s degree and five years of experience preferred.
- Experience with automated material handling and high-speed manufacturing.
- Proficiency in business/technical software and design-in-safety experience.
