Responsibilities
- Define new test specifications and methodologies based on mission profiles to assure product reliability.
- Identify and validate product risks via Design for Reliability mechanisms and collaborate with design teams to mitigate risks.
- Provide hands-on experimental design, execution, and custom test development.
- Develop preventative maintenance strategies.
- Perform reliability prediction of failure mechanisms and conduct risk assessments on products.
- Engage with a cross-disciplinary team and external partners for product definition and execution.
- Adapt and succeed within a collaborative peer environment.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in prototyping and implementation.
- Knowledge of reliability specification development.
- Experience in risk analysis and failure analysis for outdoor power electronics.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility.
- Effective communication skills for cross-team engagement.
