Responsibilities
- Drive the design and development of satellite communication systems payload software.
- Manage key functions such as commanding, telemetry, power control, and hardware interfaces.
- Oversee the operational state management and thermal management of satellites.
- Participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and testing.
- Ensure reliability and efficiency in satellite avionics and communication systems.
- Collaborate with the team to tackle critical payload functions.
- Contribute to the integration of hardware and software systems.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience with systems.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
