Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for terrestrial devices within Project Kuiper.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Develop embedded software using languages like assembly, C, C++, and Rust.
- Apply real-time embedded software philosophies and practices.
- Work with Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Review schematics and troubleshoot embedded software issues.
- Collaborate with teams across Amazon to craft software from requirements to deployment.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
- Experience with build processes, testing, and operational practices.
