Responsibilities
- Work with design, manufacturing, and production teams to enhance production safety, quality, and rate.
- Conduct architectural design of industrial controls including component selection and control panel layout.
- Create electrical schematics for industrial control systems and produce documentation for end-users.
- Design electromechanical automation systems using knowledge of pneumatics, electric motors, and closed loop control.
- Program and configure software for PLC, HMI, and data acquisition systems.
- Commission, troubleshoot, and train on industrial control systems designed for production.
- Manage projects including cost estimates and scheduling while maintaining high standards for performance, quality, and cost.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of industrial system design experience, particularly in control layout and schematics.
- 3+ years of experience in installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Expert knowledge of industrial control equipment and precision measurements.
- Experience with programming and designing HMI, SCADA, and control network components.
- Familiarity with electrical design standards such as NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A, and ISO 13849.
- Additional programming skills in languages such as C#, Python, and SQL.
