Responsibilities
- Drive resolution for an intern project by analyzing data for process improvement recommendations.
- Assist in designing and improving order fulfillment infrastructure within Amazon’s supply chain.
- Support management and implementation of integrated automation projects involving various system elements.
- Coordinate design and execution efforts between teams and vendors regarding specifications and layout.
- Develop and manage budget and contract documents for projects.
- Direct system commissioning and testing activities, reporting results.
- Ensure compliance with training, maintenance, and safety practices for equipment.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older and enrolled in a bachelor's program in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Preferred experience in large-scale industrial engineering projects and integrated automation solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and CAD skills for automation layout development.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and logistics related to fulfillment centers.
